16–18 October 2026 at the beautiful Nunyara Conference Centre.
Our theme is Building Blocks and Pathways, to help you strengthen your craft and find your next step as a writer.
Expect keynote speakers, writing workshops, genre groups and hub appointments with writing and publishing professionals.
Australian Christian writers conference
The Omega Writers bi-annual conference is our flagship event for Christian writers. It attracts writers in all genres from around Australia and New Zealand and high-calibre international guest speakers.
The next Omega Writers in-person conference for Christian writers will be held in 2026.
Our Christian writers conference offers focused craft workshops, genre groups, networking opportunities as well as sessions on essential skills for writers, like time management, psychology marketing and more. Participants walk away with friendships and Christian
encouragement unlike any other conference in Australia.

Christian Writers Masterclasses
Improve your writing and learn new skills with our Omega Writers Masterclasses.
These online workshops are offered several times per year and taught via Zoom for 1 hour. Learn from experienced
writers across a variety of topics and genres. Cost is usually $30 for non-members, $20 for members.

Conference Scholarships
We know conferences can be expensive, especially for writers who are starting out. That’s why we offer Conference Scholarships for first-time attenders.
We invite you to contribute to our Scholarship fund! If you’ve attended the Omega Writers conference and benefited, please ‘pay it forward’. You can give another writer an opportunity to be blessed from being part of the learning and fellowship of the Conference.
