Chapter Groups for Christian Writers Australia
Writers thrive when they find a supportive, like-minded network of fellow writers who ‘get’ them. Omega
Writers chapter groups are designed to provide connection, fellowship and encouragement for Christian writers
around Australia. You do not have to be a financial member to attend meetings, however some chapter groups
may hold special events (such as writing retreats) for members only.
Some groups meet in person and feature guest speakers and writing workshops. Other groups meet online and
focus on a particular genre of writing. Find your group, connect with your people, and write on!
All the chapter groups are free to join, however some groups request a donation to support their local running
costs or to pay for special events such as retreats or bookfairs. Ask the organiser.

The Brisbane chapter generally meets on the first Sunday of the month from 2pm to 4pm in Brisbane (contact Judy for venue address).
Cost is $4 per meeting. If you would like to share your latest work for mutual critiquing, bring along two pages. Please bring a plate of goodies for afternoon tea.
