Omega Writers Conference 2026: Building Blocks & Pathways

Mark your calendar — Omega Writers Conference 2026 is heading to Adelaide from October 16–18, hosted at the beautiful Nunyara Conference Centre.

The 2026 theme, Building Blocks and Pathways, is all about helping writers lay strong foundations and discover clear next steps — whether you’re just starting out or ready to move forward with confidence.

We’re thrilled to announce two international keynote speakers already confirmed:

  • Dr Saundra Dalton-Smith (USA) — physician, author, and sought-after speaker on rest,
    resilience, and sustainable creativity
  • Mark Ritchie (UK) — comedian, evangelist, and storyteller known for powerful, joy-filled
    communication

They’ll be joined by an outstanding line-up of Australian workshop leaders, including Penny Reeve and Rochelle Stephens, with more to be announced.

What to Expect

  • Practical workshops for beginners and emerging writers
  • Hub appointments with editors, agents, and experienced industry professionals
  • Space to learn, connect, and be encouraged in your writing journey

For those wanting to linger a little longer, an optional stay-over and relax night on Sunday 18
October is available — but places are limited, so early booking is essential.

The Omega Writers Conference committee is busy finalising details, and excitement is building fast.

✈️ Now’s a great time to check your flight options, especially if you’re travelling from interstate. Bookings open early May 2026 — stay tuned and be ready to secure your place!
