Omega Writers

New Christian literary journal publishing in 2021

Omega Writers recently received this letter from inScribe journal which is asking for submissions for its first edition to be published in February 2021. You can check their website for more details and read below.

“We are writing with news of an exciting new literary journal, soon to be launched, and an invitation
for members of Omega Writers to contribute.

We are living under a covenant in which God chooses to write his transformative, life-giving
law directly into our hearts. We are His canvas, His sketchpad, His journal. He writes into us His
love and forgiveness, and fills the pages of our hearts with His dreams and plans for us. How can we
not respond with joy and humble obedience?

inScribe journal was formed upon this foundation – not as a place to perform, or promote
our own agendas, but as a simple, grateful response to the words inscribed on our hearts.
Within the pages of inScribe journal, you will find works of poetry, fiction, and creative nonfiction
from writers with Christian spiritual and moral convictions.

As a bi-annual journal, we will produce print copies, to satisfy the irreplaceable sensory
experience of a beautifully crafted magazine, and the inScribe website (soon to be launched) will
also feature the online version of the magazine.

From our online platform and social media presence, we hope to also share thought-provoking
commentary on the writing life and related topics of interest.

We are currently seeking articles and creative content for both the journal and the website.
Each edition of the journal will be themed. The theme for our inaugural issue, set for release in
February 2021, is Gift. We would be honoured to receive contributions from those connected with
Omega Writers, of either an article for the website and/or creative content for our very first issue.
Please feel free to contact us directly to discuss any ideas you might have. You might also
wish to help with the promotion of this exciting new initiative by inviting students, friends, and
colleagues to contribute. Our submission guidelines can be found on the inScribe website and
Facebook page.

We hope you can see the value of this new venture for the community of readers and
writers. We would encourage you to reflect on the words written upon your heart by a creative and
loving God, and consider if inScribe journal may serve as a vessel through which you respond.

Blessings,
Jade Wyatt (Senior Editor and Social Media Rep)
and Jaclyn Millhouse (Editor and Web Editor)”
